Where we've been. Where we're going.
Mainnet & The Three-Enclave Architecture
The biggest year in the project's history. Several breakthroughs:
- Three-Enclave Architecture — TrustedZone (gatekeeper), SecureLock (executor), and SwiftStream (file service) shipped as a production pipeline. Client code runs exclusively in SecureLock — TrustedZone never touches it.
- PrivateSphere — Process confidentiality layer ensuring not just data but the computation itself stays private.
- Mainnet Migration — Contracts, staking, and applications migrated to production Bloxberg mainnet.
- Node.js Template — Developers could now write backend functions in JavaScript, not just Python.
- Decentralized DNS — .ecld and .etny domain registration via ENS smart contracts.
- Smart Contract Audit — Compliance update and third-party security audit completed.
Production-grade confidential execution. The platform went from "testnet experiment" to "production infrastructure."
Developer SDK & Multi-Chain Expansion
The year Ethernity Cloud became accessible to every developer:
- SDK Release — @ethernity-cloud/sdk-js (Node.js) and ethernity-cloud-sdk-py (Python). Four commands: ecld-init, ecld-build, ecld-publish, run.
- Multi-Chain — Polygon Mainnet added alongside Bloxberg. Five testnets: Polygon, IoTeX, Ethereum Sepolia, LitVM LiteForge, Bloxberg testnet.
- EC 2.0 Protocol Testnet — Next-generation protocol with TDX adaptation, extending hardware support beyond SGX.
- ENS Domains — Decentralized DNS live on Polygon (.ecld) and Bloxberg (.etny).
- New Staking Mechanism — Up to 30% first-year APR, 12-month maturity, marketplace matching stakers to operators.
- Healthcare Check Service — Automated node monitoring, health status tracking, and alerting for operators.
- ComputeVault VM — Design phase for persistent encrypted virtual machines that maintain state across sessions.
Any developer with npm or pip can deploy confidential applications. Multi-chain means no lock-in to a single blockchain.
Scale
The network grew to 5,000+ active nodes — community-operated hardware spanning multiple continents.
- AI-Blockchain Integration Beta — Confidential AI inference inside enclaves: run ML models on encrypted data where neither the model owner nor the data owner can see each other's assets.
- ComputeVault MVP Beta — Persistent encrypted VMs that maintain state between sessions. The first step toward full confidential cloud computing, not just serverless functions.
- EC 2.0 Protocol Mainnet — Production deployment of the next-generation protocol.
Network scale that makes decentralized compute competitive with AWS. AI workloads inside enclaves.
AI Meets Confidential Compute
The convergence year — everything built over the last decade comes together:
- ComputeVault Mainnet — Persistent encrypted virtual machines in production. Full stateful workloads running confidentially on community hardware.
- AI-Blockchain Integration Mainnet — Production-grade confidential AI: model inference, training on encrypted data, and verifiable ML pipelines with on-chain proof.
- EC 2.0 Protocol — TDX hardware support alongside SGX, expanding the hardware base for node operators.
The full vision — confidential AI, persistent VMs, multi-hardware support, 5,000+ community nodes. A complete alternative to centralized cloud for privacy-critical workloads.
What's Next
Beyond the convergence, the roadmap focuses on making Ethernity Cloud the default choice for any workload where data privacy, execution integrity, or verifiability matters:
- Smart contracts deployed across 50+ EVM mainnets — verifiable confidential compute reachable natively from every major chain
- Expanded hardware support (AMD SEV, ARM TrustZone)
- Enterprise compliance certifications
- Developer ecosystem growth (grants, hackathons, templates)
- Cross-chain interoperability for PoX verification
